On-device pose tracking follows arm speed and finds the peak — the moment of release. It is the loudest signal in the delivery, so it does not get missed.
Start the session once. The phone records continuously and cuts each pitch out afterwards, so there is no button to hit between throws.
Because the clip is cut backwards from the release, the leg lift and stride are already in it. Nothing gets chopped by a late start.
Step one frame at a time at the clip's true rate. At 120 fps that is about eight milliseconds a step — enough to read arm slot and release point.
Shoulders, hips, knees, hands and feet tracked on the clip. Turn it on to talk mechanics, off to just watch the pitch.
No account, no upload, no cloud. Your video and pose data never leave the phone.

Fifteen to twenty-five feet from the mound, looking at the pitcher's side rather than down the lane. Whole body in frame, head to feet. A fence clamp or bucket is enough.
One button, once. The phone records continuously and watches arm speed while you stand where you can actually see the delivery.
When the arm peaks, that timestamp marks the release. The app cuts a few seconds either side out of footage it already has — so the wind-up is never missed.
Open the library, drop to quarter speed, step to the release point. Swipe up and down to move through the session without going back to a grid.
Baseball pitcher and coach.
PitchCapture records and stores everything on your device. Your videos and pose data are never collected, transmitted, or shared with anyone — including us.
Nothing. The app has no accounts, no servers, and no analytics. We do not collect, receive, or have any access to your videos, your pose data, or any information about you.
Every recording, thumbnail, pose track, and player name is saved locally in the app's own storage on your device. It is not backed up to any service we operate, and it is removed when you delete a clip or uninstall the app.
All three can be revoked at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security. Revoking camera access stops recording; clips you already have remain.
The app uses on-device machine learning to track body position and detect the moment of release. The models are bundled inside the app and run entirely on your phone — no frame, image, or pose measurement is transmitted to us or to the model's authors.
No advertising, no tracking, no third-party analytics, and no software development kits that report back. Nothing about your use of PitchCapture is sent to any outside party.
PitchCapture is intended for coaches, instructors, and parents, and is not designed for a child to use on their own. We recognise that most people filmed with it are minors. Because the app has no network component, footage of a child is never transmitted to us or anyone else — it exists only on the device that recorded it. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from a child.
If you record other people's children: get permission from a parent or guardian first, and follow whatever rules your league, club, or school has about filming. The app keeps footage private on your device, but what you record and who you show it to is your responsibility.
If you send a message through the contact form below, we store your name, email address, role, message, and IP address so we can reply and to limit abuse. That is used for nothing else, and it is not shared or sold. Our web host also keeps standard access logs. A single session cookie is set to prevent forged form submissions; there are no advertising or analytics cookies here.
Because the app stores nothing on our systems, there is no app data for us to give you, correct, or delete — it is already entirely under your control on your device. For anything you sent through the contact form, email privacy@chhon.com and we will action it and confirm.
